So my one accomplishment this month is that the giant grain coop in the area has endless trucks that barrel thru this town day after day. until about 2 weeks ago all these trucks barely bother downshifting let alone actually stopping at the 4 way stop at the crossroads of West Lima (which is about 20 feet from where Im sitting). A couple weeks ago one of the trucks blew thru the stop sign as a 4 year old kid with zero sense of his surroundings was also skateboarding on the same corner. I called the coop headquarters and started screaming at the poor receptionist that if these big big trucks didnt start stopping some kid was gonna get killed. I probably owe her an apology for my rage, but every truck, and there are dozens of them each day, is coming to a full stop (as opposed to a country stop) at the corner.
