So my thirteen year old daughter smoked me in the 400 meter run this afternoon. I tried to say that because I led the way for the first three hundred meters (being the majority of the race), that I had actually won. She didnt even deem that worthy of a comment. Kids got speed. I also tried to use the excuse that I had worked all night, not slept well, and was wearing jeans, sweat shirt, and hiking shoes. That didnt work either. When I advised her later that I would out run her by the end of track season, she simply replied, you better be running every day. I didnt deem that worthy of a comment. I dont know how many people I have told you couldnt outrun a girl when I was growing up. Thats what you call Karma.
