So...not been feeling well since our return from Dewey, and things have gone from bad to worse! Had two cats with issues at the vets, Simba and Meggie. Both are okay now. Had dinner plans with friends last night but also had to pick Meggie up from the vets. I needed to switch the cat carrier from my car to the van. Car was parked down the street and it was POURING rain. Got soaked but made the switch. Came back to the house and I realized I had locked myself out. Ugh. I managed to get the screen and window up in the living room and climb through that way. I was afraid my arthritic knees would object but I made it. Dogs were standing there staring at me climbing through the window...Is she nuts? Is she an intruder? Should we bark? They were dumbfounded. Went to dinner and picked Meggie up around 9 p.m. Thought today would be a better day but I overslept by two hours! Usually the cats wake me up before the alarm goes off at 5 a.m., but this morning...nobody moved. I finally woke up because Meggie was walking on me. When I realized it was daylight outside I flew out of bed. Made it to work...late, but here. Wonder whats next...sigh...
