So now Obama is going to bomb ISIS....... Depose a brutal dictator (who just happens to be a SECULAR dictator totally opposed to Islamic fundamentalism) at unspeakable human cost, unchaining the fundamentalists who then impose a regime a million times worse than the previous one. Witness the ghastly outcome, then go back and bomb the people you helped put into power. Fear the same outcome in Libya and Syria. And in the cradle of it all, Afghanistan, in the late 70s/80s pump billions into the armoury of what was to become ALQaeda to help them destabilise a PDPA government that was bringing education, secularism and womens rights, things we in the West take for granted..........force the Russians to invade and be defeated....witness the fundamentalist takeover......go back, invade and bomb the people you funded. UTTER INSANITY. Non interference in other countries internal affairs used to be a standard, jettisoned by the war criminals Bush and Blair. Now we see why it was such a good principle. Only the people of these countries can decide their own destiny. And the bald, unpalatable fact is that they were ALL better off before, however awful it was, than they are now. You cant impose democracy. You can only impose chaos, genocide and the rise of something far worse than the thing you were trying to destroy.
