So, now according to the law we now know that the grand jury was - TopicsExpress

So, now according to the law we now know that the grand jury was misled and did not get a totally truthful explanation regarding the use of force. (Lawrence ODonnell is THOROUGH). This is the first time that this has been made public due to the nature of this particular case involving ex-officer Darren Wilson and Michael Brown and there cannot be an accurate account as to how many times a grand jury has been misled in Missouri since this was the first time a case of this magnitude has been recorded if I am not mistaken. The jurors were confused according to transcripts regarding this specific law judging from the types of questions asked and the more information that is being gathered in the aftermath of the decision not to indict, the more dismal this case has become. This is beyond the pre-conceived notion of a few extremely opinionated people who make clear judgements on what type of individual was killed, according to this law, if a person flees, THATS IT. Just like in a jail during a cell extraction, once the inmate is handcuffed, it doesnt matter if he bit his mothers nose off prior to coming to jail, ITS OVER. This is for all of the law enforcement scholars who somehow think that to be on the streets, STOPPING DOESNT MATTER. IT DOES! Be cognizant of who you receive your information from. Do not let your preconceived notions and subconscious fetishes get you jammed up. The fact is that this egregious mistake was made and recognized by none other than the State of Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster. Not a pundit from CNN, MSNBC or FOX News. It came from that States Attorney General. Can Darren Wilson be indicted now? I couldnt tell you, I know enough to know when I dont know something as opposed to all of the social media scholars and case law experts. I can only share with everyone my understanding of a FEDERAL LAW that overrides State law. It truly is sad that a case like this has lifted the veil on how so many think. Committed to a skewed perception of the world and certain communities. A case where not too many of us are personally connected to either participant in said issue. I dont know Michael Brown, cant tell you if he is a thug or a scholar or both. I do know that there was indeed a lack of compassion on the side of Darren Wilson just as it was a lack of human compassion on the side of the Officer and killer of Eric Gardner in Staten Island. A lack of compassion or cowardice, pick your poison. Whichever it is, just know that you really shouldnt be working law enforcement if your scared of the community that you are interacting with. Especially in a country that has been polarized by race since its inception and continues to be one of the biggest issues to date. You also make it hard for those officers that aint scared. That can say sorry for stopping or identifying the wrong person in an investigation, those that have no problem with speaking with some respect to ALL community members and not make distinctions based on zip codes. Who dont make generalizations about whole communities or assumptions that to be a young Black male automatically means that he has a record or that his family is on some form of assistance and if that is the case, to not make the assumption that this would automatically make a person bad. Communities that are affected by high crime rates hate crime just as much as everyone else, probably even more since they experience it at higher rates than others. Members of those communities do protest crime and those that are so quick to always address why crimes are committed in those areas when cases like the one in Ferguson make headlines would know this if they TRULY paid attention or cared. You could care less that crimes are committed in those areas but it is a defense mechanism against people who dont want the added pressure of police protection gone to shit compounded with the already existing crime. Well, I have been on my soapbox for a little longer than I expected but I felt the need to share some sentiments. I hope those that read it can appreciate it and those that dont holla at me...
