So, now that America is being threatened by ebola, a terrible disease that could kill, what, a half dozen, maybe a dozen people in this country, were all in such a state of shock that Congress has decided that something major must be done! And that something is to appoint an EBOLA CZAR! I feel much better already, knowing that our national leadership in Washington has taken this major threat to America and the world at large seriously and is dedicated to doing EVERY SINGLE THING THAT MUST BE DONE to protect us. Just feel a little sad that those same leaders have not taken the same approach to Climate Change. Now theres a REAL threat to humanity and the total biosphere and what do we see our leaders doing? Have they appointed a Climate Change Czar? Have they put aside petty party politics and come together, dedicated to do whatever is necessary to save their countrymen, not to mention the rest of the living world? They have not done ONE GOD-DAMNED THING to address the very real threat of climate change. And not only that, they have aided and abetted the very people who have generated and are continuing to generate the carbon pollution that is the root of the climate changes. All this attention to ebola is crap! It is doing nothing but diverting your attention from the fact that your national representatives are being paid to destroy the one and only planet we have currently to live on.
