So, now the we are all over the shock of Dave losing part of his finger, here comes the rest of the story. Landon was with Dave when this incident occurred. They went To Aunt Merediths house for help/advice. Someone suggested going back for the piece of finger in case they could sew it back on. Landon and Uncle Jeremy went back for the glove Dave was wearing. On the way, Landon asked Jeremy, Do catfish eat meat? Jeremy told him catfish do like meat. Landon asked, If they can not sew my daddys finger back on, can we use it for bait and go fishing? WOW!. When Landon finally saw Dave again, after Daves trip to the ER Landons first question was, Daddy, did they sew your finger back on? Cause Uncle Jeremy said he would take me fishing at his pond and I could use it for bait.
