So of course I cant sleep so I thought Id share a story that I cant get out of my head. I was walking to pick up Gavin a couple days ago and was super early so stopped by to see Kati at big Helyns. We were chatting about our fiancés kids and decided to do the knotts thing tomorrow. Her man is in the military so we get in free just paying for the kids. Well there was a man sitting a couple seats down from me and kinda chimed in on our convo. Anyway, we were talking about the great and tough things that come with being step moms. So eventually he asked for his tab and paid and then slapped a $100 bill on the bar and said, have fun at Knotts with your kids, and walked out before we could barely spit out a thank you! We were so shocked and I still am. Someone that doesnt know us just gave us $100 to make sure we have fun with the kids. People never cease to amaze me. Random acts of kindness are few and far between these days. I just thought that was so kind... Had to share it. K, on that note, im going to try and sleep now. I hope everyone has a great Monday and thank you to all the veterans for their courage and all they have done for our country. Grateful is the best word I can use to describe my feeling before I go to dream land. Sweet dreams my friends. :))
