So on my backpack I have these pins with quotes on them that I bought for an organization that helps build and improve schools in 3rd world countries. People at school often ask and/ or comment on them. Today at school, a leading member of Young Republicans asked me if I was a liberal - to which I strongly replied yes. He/ She then made a derogatory joke (if you will) about liberals. Attempting to keep my composition, I simply stated that everyone was entitled to their own opinion. Conversation carried on and he/ she eventually asked about my pins. I told him exactly what I wrote earlier - that they were bought in an effort to support education in third world countries to which he/ she replied: Eh, they dont need education. Good job Young Republicans. I am truly amazed at what your leaders have to say.
