So on our culinary adventures ( remember me saying no more food for a couple of days? ) - we had lunch at the Belle Meade Plantation - Portabella Soup & Spinach Salad - Dennis had the Blackberry BBQ Shredded Chicken - we shared goat cheese grits ( Lordy ) . Tour was incredible - if you go there wait for Rob the military historian to take you on your tour.Then on to the Parthenon and from there to dinner at Southerns in downtown Nashville. We started with Steak Biscuits - Bleu Cheese Biscuits with succulent Tenderloin as an appetizer. For entrees I had Southern Oysters with a side of.butternut Squash with Goat Cheese. Dennis had fall of the bone spare ribs - Urp- must go in a few hours to pick up my cousin Russ at the airport -= food coma until then
