So on the amazing cheese adventure with Anita Dinan and Heather Magee we sampled cheese from all over, but settled on an amazing 5 year old cheddar that was perfectly salty and sharp, and an aged Gouda that was surprisingly smooth and sharp too. The girl who helped us may have thought wed never seen or eaten cheese before. She let us sample everything. Came home with a chocolate and walnut stuffed fig smothered in honey to try as well, a couple amazing cheese/bread sticks. Flaky and delicious. They had just about everything under the sun there, spreads, salsas, jams, oils (many truffle oils were locked in a case), olives of every kind, balsamic vinegars, pastas, meats ( an entire room dedicated to meat and dry aging), smoked sausages, patés, desserts, savoury treats, and breads. Just awesome. We spent a lot of time there lol. Quite the afternoon food adventure.
