So, one might be asking, WTH is he posting all these pictures of digging trenches, grass, etc... Well, for the last 7 years we have had issues when it rains as the water comes out of the downspout and just washes any of the landscaping we have done away. Each year I have wanted to run corrugated pipe from the downspout out to the wetland buffer that is still our property. Each year I put it off and it never gets done. We have 3 gutter downspouts and this was one that was causing pretty bad erosion, so I decided now was the time. This was phase one, phase two will be the side of the house that has a French drain installed so it will tie into that with a short connection pipe. Phase three will the other side of the house that is next to our grille pad and should be pretty easy to do as well. After all three are completed, I can finally mark that project off my list, just too me 7 years to do it.
