AS per govt records 2733 Sikhs were killed in 1984 Sikh genocide in Delhi, unofficial reports have differ with this record, and number is assumed in between 4000-5000. Phoolka ji do not accept this unofficial assumption. He sticks to govt. records.Many FIRs were not lodged but dead bodies were destroyed and disappeared by Police, what about those, is any case filed where FIR was not lodged? My question is how many petitions he filed against these killers or how many cases he presented on behalf of victims? How many punished and how many cases pending? What is their status? And whether he accepts the unofficial figure? Do you agree with it? In Trilokpuri more then 400 Sikhs were killed in one day. Between Blocks 32 and 31 there are large open spaces where over 50 Sikh families were living in jhuggies and jhopries (Clusters). These hutments were burnt down and the menfolk were killed. The role of the police was on the same lines as found elsewhere in Delhi during the period. The sanctioned strength of the police in the Kalyanpuri police station, under which Trilokpuri falls is 113, including one inspector (who is the Station House Officer) and around 2.30 p. m. on November 1 when the plunder and killings were taking place. The police control room curiously enough recorded that only three people entire rows of houses in several blocks of Trilokpuri were burning and their inmates killed.
