So one of my No friends Sean Waters sent me a link to a result predictor put together by an academic at University of East Anglia. According to his analysis, based on a survey of 6000 across all 32 regions, measured against the SNP vote at the last election and then weighted to reflect the recent narrowing of opinion polls. Keeping in mind the districts range in size from Glasgow @ 11.2% down to Orkney at 0.4% of the electorate. It not a straight racentre over number of districts won. According to the ready reckoner YES can expect to win 14 districts. Im listing them by narrowest margin first to largest. Edinburgh City Renfrewshire Eilean Siar North Ayrshire Stirling East Dunbartonshire South Ayrshire East Ayr shire Falkirk North Lanarkshire West Dunbartonshire Inverclyde Glasgow City Dundee City.. According to the paperThe most optimistic potential result in Edinburgh is 52% YES in Edinburgh and a whopping 61% in Glasgow. Their declarations are expected about 5am. Its not a science by any means but may give us something to go on.
