So, one of the weird things about me is: Im vegetarian and I dont even really like animals. In my opinion, they are a pain in the butt - puppies, birds, and spiders alike. However, the treatment humans dish out to other species in factory farming is WRONG. Factory Farming (noun) - a system of rearing livestock using intensive methods, by which poultry, pigs, or cattle are confined indoors under strictly controlled conditions. The kind of tourtoure factory farming delivers should never have to be endured by any being. You dont have to be part of this violence, you have a choice. Two films were mentioned in this clip. Food Inc. and Earthings. Ive watched them. They changed the way I look at food forever. I didnt want to accept what was being shown. I wanted to look away or leave the room. Im pleading with you - dont look away. Whatch the whole film without prejudice (either one).
