So our first official day back home went pretty well. Needless to say when we got home Wednesday after long drives we hit the ground running. Danica did pretty well on the drive home we did have one stop that wasnt so great about 15 miles out of Fargo because she had gotton so worked up do to poopie pants and had stopped breathing so that wasnt to fun and we had to change her on the side of the road in the van and it was freezing cold outside which also was not fun. Other then that she traveled pretty well. We got back home and picked up Carter first. He was so excited to see us and Danica and she absolutely loved seeing him. Then we made it to our house and quickly unpacked the van and made a quick trip to the store to grab grocery and fixings for supper then Kyra was brought home by Chelsea my sis in law and boy was she excited! I have never seen her run so fast to her Daddy and me. She was so excited to see her bubba to. We got supper made and spent time unpacking and getting everyone settled again. Danica was so wiped out from all the excitement and being home with her family that she had to be put in bed about 7 and didnt stir till about 830 or so. I got to take Carter to school this morning so Chad didnt have to pack up all the kids. Which I love being able to do. It was crazy getting back into the swing of things. When Chad and I get to take time off its never to enjoy a break its more work then sometimes being at home and then we dont get time to get readjusted we just head right back into our busy lives of working opposite shifts and shuffling kids in between the two of us with jus grabbing a quick hello/goodbye to each other followed by a quick peck on yhe cheek before heading our separate ways. We seriously one day will need a vacation but unfortunately its a long ways away for us. But we are so thankful for what we do have and most important we still have Danica with us and our other beautiful children as well so always need to be thankful and find the good in it all. So we should hopefully if Danica responds to her steroid treatment see a change in her demeanor and her needs of support this week if its going to work. If not then we continue to try each step until we have exhausted every option. We are trusting and believing that she will respond because we dont want to go down the road of the other options as they get harder and harder on Danica and us. So we will continue to update everyone on her progress thank you all for your continued support and prayers.
