So our trip to Olathe to watch Pacific Rim was pretty damn awesome! We all had an absolute blast! We expected the movie to be HUGE in spectacle but weak in presentation, but it was awesome in both aspects. The movie was great, the robots were HUGE, the monsters were HUGE, the fight scenes were HUGE (but not overdone like Michael Bay did in the Transformers movies) and since it was seen on a GINORMOUS screen & in reclining seats, it just made it all that much better! O, and I witnessed for the first time ever, REAL 3D!!! Never before has it REALLY looked like objects were flying off the screen at me, but from the first minutes of the movie when "we" were flying thru space, the stars actually appeared to be passing by me! It was so cool! And the old 3D always gave Missie & I both splitting headaches, but again... not this time!!! All around great day, enjoyed by all 3 of us. Happy birthday Jordy, we love ya kid. Jordan Parrick & Malissa Bourbina Parrick, we WILL do it again soon!
