So over the last few months ive heard alot of people ask me why id want to join the defence force, why id choose a job where my life and limbs are at risk over a normal job and just simply that they think i wont be able to handle the basic training at kapooka because they have seen my previous work ethnic. So these are the reasons why id like to join, id like to join as i have been thinking of joining the army for the last couple of years now, i have multiple family members and close friends who are serving or have served. As you know i dont like the same routine of day to day work doing the same things everyday, in the army there is no same day at work each day is doing something completely different. And the potential to travel with work is endless and really appeals to me. And as for my life and limbs if you think about at any job your in or any day to day situation is unknown for you cant tell how long your going to live for cause as weve seen with things like cancer and car accidents anything is possible, and serving out of my country making other countries safer and saving lives is perfect. And not to mention to help prevent those bad people from come into our country and ruining our family futures. As for fitness its getting better but as you know when i do get fit im normally a very sporty and switched on person whos played alot of afl and likes to come first! Time is a valuable thing, and it makes me appreciate what i take for granted so much more like having a roof to live under and a great family and friend support. Get out there and do what makes you happy cause at the end of the day you could not be here tomorrow. #rantover
