So over the last few weeks our family has learned some valuable hard lessons. We were sold a car with major mechanical problems through Toyota of Rockwall. We have had engine issues with our car almost since day 1. I should have took it back then and told them to keep the darn thing. After fixing a few things we had our car going again. It wasnt very long until we had to replace all the engine coils and our catalytic converter. Well not long after that our car shut off and would not move. After three mechanics and lots of money later we found out that the cause of all of our prior vehicle repairs, which cost us lots of out of pocket money, was due to Carbon built up in the engine prior to us owning it. This Carbon built up effected a lot of things and has left us with needing a new engine! Now before you ask yes we did purchase a warranty on the car, that should cover is in case anything catastrophic happened such as engine failure....yea right! After weeks of arguing and now seeking lawyer counseling they are trying to wiggle out of the repairs. Next time I will not only read the lines, but between the lines, around the lines, and seek any loop holes I can think of before purchasing a warranty. This still leaves us with a major fight ahead of us and a broken car which we need in order to travel as a family. After paying for the previous car repairs, Addisons surgery, Karters surgery, and Addisons MRI our finances are tighter than we would like but this is all just a small trial. We still have our Lord, and even though my faith & trust has been broke with any dealership & warranty company, we will over come this. I think sometimes the Lord does give you more than YOU can handle so that you can come down to your knees and begin to rely on him. He will never give me more than I can handle with his assistance. Trying so hard to make my attitude today and here out thankful. Here is to a new day and new car repair shops to call :)
