So people have been so overwhelmingly generous with me these past couple of weeks (between Chachics Book Nooks Amour et Florand week, and all the bloggers and authors who joined in that, and then Andrea at The Bookish Babes three big reviews for these books), and I was thinking I would really like to pay it forward some. So I am going to be doing some giveaways of special books. We started off with the extra special Virginia Kantras CAROLINA BLUES arc, and today, I want to offer a copy from another of my favorite authors, Thea Harrison. Ive been reading Thea Harrison since way back when she was writing Harlequin Presents as Amanda Carpenter, which just goes to show how much I like her voice and story. She started publishing HPs when she was nineteen, so as you can imagine, her voice and sense of story has grown much more powerful since. If you have not read her, you are missing out! (In my humble opinion. :) ) So I wanted to offer a giveaway of the first book in her Elder Races series, Dragon Bound. (I dont mind substituting if you have that one.) This is the book with which she burst back onto the scene, after a sixteen-year absence from writing, and I immediately fell in love with it...and imagine my surprise when I learned that Thea Harrison was the very same Amanda Carpenter I had loved so much. Completely different stories (paranormals), but isnt it funny how certain voices/fundamental stories just draw, so that I rediscovered her entirely by accident, thinking I was falling for a new author and eventually discovering it was one and the same?
