So picture this: 2 weeks ago Im leaving work at 8:30 at night , and Im the last one out. Somehow while ice skating to my Jeep I manage to do the splits , twirl around nicely landing on my back bonking my head , and end up in the ER getting a CT scan . Nothing broken, nothing bleeding , but wait there is one thing the radiologist did see. Back a week later for an MRI with contrast to have a better look. Was it god or an Angel that pushed me down on that ice? Visited the surgeons office today to discuss the mass they saw on my kidney during the scans. So the bad news is the surgeon says it looks like I do have kidney cancer. A lovely 1+ mass on my right Kidney that took on contrast ( meaning its alive). The good news is it doesnt appear to have spread outside the Kidney. Total blessing to be finding it now vs later. He thinks he can remove it laparoscopically and with a robotic device and save my kidney. Praying the cancer is then gone and gone for good. Ill be going in for surgery at MCR Feb 6th 2 days after my 46th bday. Sometimes getting old sucks!! Sent from my iPhone
