So, potty training. I have spent the majority of our Christmas break working hard core with Austin. By yesterday, mid morning, I was ready to call it quits, wait until he was older, and just decide he wasnt ready for this. I put him in a diaper, I was done. A little while later, the alarm I had set on my phone went off to take him to the potty. I turned it off, thinking nope. Done. But God told my heart to take him. Uuggghh, fine. So I took him. And I sat him on there. And I prayed over him that something would click! School and therapy start tomorrow and potty training is going to be a lot more difficult. When I finished praying, i told austin ok, lets go baby. He went. I took him an hour later, and he went. I took him and hour after that, and he went, after each time I asked him to. Since then he has had plenty of misses, but he has figured out how to go when he is asked to! We still have a long way to go before he will be potty trained, but I am glad and encouraged by this! Thank you all for your tips and experiences, I took and applied several that I though would work best for Austin. Praise to Jesus for healing this baby and helping us raise him.
