So proud of Munchie and what she is doing- no words -but here are hers Since I posted this video 10 days ago, it has been viewed 543 times, and Ive received 124 messages from complete strangers who have somehow stumbled across it. One of which said this: Hi, you dont know me but I came across your video on a friends page and Im trying to find the words to thank you for what youve done for me and my family. My 23 year old son has been battling addiction for years and like you said, Ive been questioning his integrity for his entire struggle. I turned my back on him, and so did the rest of the family, except for his brother. Last week after watching you speak from your heart like you did, I understood just how hard he has been fighting. The next day my husband and I went to him and we watched this video together, and we apologized for deserting him when he needed us most. We told him that we never stopped loving him and that we would be there right beside him to get him the help he needed whenever he was ready. Yesterday he showed up on our doorstep. Were dropping him off at an intensive inpatient treatment center the day after tomorrow. There are no words to describe what you and your uncle have given our family. The bravery, strength and grace that you show in sharing your sisters story is simply amazing and you will touch the ends of the world with your voice. Ive read some of the public posts on your page and youve said that if you can help even one person that Sarahs death wont be in vain. Im writing to tell you that youve accomplished that in me and my family. And Im sure hundreds if not thousands of others are sitting in their houses thinking the exact same thing right now. So please. Dont ever stop sharing your sisters soul with the world. You have a true gift. And I will be forever grateful that you chose to share it with me. You might have given me back my son. If nothing else youve given my entire family the hope that we needed to help him keep fighting for one more day. Your sister is most definitely full of pride for what youre doing in her name.
