So proud of my grandson as he came home on Thursday and told his parents he signed up for Cross Country and had to have a copy of his physical on order to try out. They had no idea he was even interested in this. He tried out today and made the team. He had to run two miles in less than 19 minutes and he did this with ease. They have their first meet in Kingsport this Thursday. There were only 7 people that ran in front of him and most of them were 8th graders. Coach said for this being his first time running he did great!!
