So proud of myself today and of Aiden!!! Well a couple of days ago one of our toilets became plugged (I wont say by who, but it was not me) I tried and tried to get it unplugged with the snake, but no go. When I pulled the snake out, the end of it with the big, round, metal ball had broken off in the toilet pipe. I tried everything from hangers to magnets to get it out but nothing worked. So I trotted on down to Lowes and bought a gasket and decided I deal with a lot of ---- at work and was pretty confident I could do the job. So I accessed the old internet and took the toilet out (yuck), cleaned it out and put it in the bathtub and Aiden and I jerry rigged a hose by using plastic tubing, a plastic baggy, tape and sure site dressings to fit it to the faucet. We ran high pressure, hot water through it and 5 minutes later and a very dirty tub, out came that big piece of metal from the snake. We proceeded to clean everything up with bleach water and reinstall the toilet with new gasket and caulk and it is as good as new! Oh yeah, the bathroom is totally disinfected too!!! Aiden was a trooper and I taught him how to do his second major project. Now he can make dining room tables and install and unclog toilets. Love that man!!!!
