So proud to be a part of this event and to be a part of this family at Play Sports Bar. The thing is, even though this IS about raising money for these officers families that were victims of such a senseless tragedy, we also recognized right from the very first conversation of planning this event with Carmine Play just about an hour after hearing about the murders on December 20th, that it was also about the fact that ALL lives are precious and important, and this senseless violence HAS to stop. No matter who it is that is striking out, no matter who the victims are, lay people, policemen, criminals or suspects. We forget in the heat of the moment that there are other victims... THE FAMILIES, that are ALL left with the aftermath of pain suffering and devastation of the loss of life of their loved ones who will never return home to them ever again, and we wanted to show support for that as well and that is when we named this Memorial Benefit... #EveryLifeMatters... Because they DO. Because if it was to be ANY member of one of our OWN families, we would ALL be crushed, like each of these families are crushed, and how could we NOT help our own family? Please #ComeOutAndPlay January 10, 2015 and show support... Donate, whatever you can, and help us bring AWARENESS so that we can help try to bring a STOP to this madness that is killing our family.
