So... rather than add hype, false promises and try and motivate those who should not need motivation. I decided not to mention(until now) that this upcoming Proving Ground™ will be the deciding factor of who will be part of the 705 crew™ for a HUGE show later this year. I wont me announcing the artist yet, I may just save it for Proving Ground™ Saturday night ;) So to all of the artists who were sitting around not promoting themselves, and falling short of expectations because they felt this Saturdays Proving Ground™ had no immediate benefits. I look forward to seeing your last min attempt at Hussle may this be a lesson to those who treat their career like highschool homework. This aint I can put in work the night before type sh*t. And yes, I could have gave a heads up earlier. But thats not my style. Those who have been putting in work, promoting themselves and have the crowd behind them, will once again prove they deserve it. Some of the artists on the bill feel that promoting themselves via social media (Regardless if they have been given the same tools as everyone else to do so) to allow other promoters, artists, producers etc. know that they are an up and coming artist is somehow beneath them. Thats cool, this Saturday will prove who is above them lol. Future opportunities are a bonus at Proving Ground™, not a guarantee or a right of passage. And when it comes to motivating those who should be motivated, Im past it. The list of those who I have shared the stage with, reads like your ipod playlist. Some of yall dont even have a track on itunes. Do the math, the time for cutting lose posers is near. And rather than expose who they are, I feel the crowd this Sat at Proving Ground™ will do that for me as usual lol. I know the homie Mista Ranking would agree with me on this one. Looking forward to having him and others in the building. Slaying the dragons of mediocrity, with my Microphone (facebook status) of truth.
