So, remember my post from yesterday ... I am trying to make lemonade out of the lemons that life has been tossing my way lately. Well, the Lord apparently thought I needed water. A pipe burst upstairs this morning. Not being upstairs at the time, I didnt know about it until a waterfall erupted in the center ceiling of our house. Being home alone, I couldnt find the items needed to access the main water shut-off (which is under the kitchen floor). My husband, who generally handles this type of situation and readily knows where the hardware can be found, is not home and has yet to respond to my CALL ME 911. An inch of water upstairs and about 1/2 inch of water downstairs before I found the hardware to lift the floor ... thought I would break my arm lifting it (must be 150 pounds). I continue to sop up the water, wringing out towels, tossing the rugs out and working around the clutter that my husband never fails to leave in the bathroom (yes, pet peeve of mine that he continues to ignore). Lemonade anyone???
