So results so far Teochews 750, Hokkiens 467, Cantonese 310, Hainanese 282, Hakka 183. Looks like the Teochews are in front, however, we still havent accounted for the proportion within each dialect group. As a percentage of population Hokkiens 45%, Teochew 22.5%, Cantonese 16%, Hainanese 5%, Hakka 7%. bit.ly/ieatdialectgrouppoll I am no statistician, but it looks like the Hainanese still have a larger proportion of foodies then the rest of the dialect groups!
