So sad. Im not shocked but for a moment believe that the humanity of man would outweigh any racial issues and see that justice should have been served. Im disgusted by the fact that my own race can be beaten and murdered and theres no price to pay. But then again, slavery is exactly what this country was built on anyway. Why would I think anything has changed. How can I raise children in this society knowing not only do they have to deal with normal civilians but they may have to also watch for police officers who I pay to protect them end up being the ones to murder them.
