So sad to see a contest that once was such an event go down to 18 contestants. I first went to EOY in 1996 and was in aww of the contest and contestants. I know pageantry is saturated but you have to look at MGA or Mr. Continental which will have 40 plus guys. Then you have the consistent contests like UsofA and AAG. Maybe it just comes down to your court and just how much they wanted it to succeed with or without help. But they can only work with what they are given, so I guess its a sticky situation for all involved. Either way having 9 MI, 11 guys and 18 Ladies for a contest that was as prestigious as EOY is dishearting, especially after the success Nina was able to breathe back into it. I still have faith it can once again be a powerhouse. Maybe George and Eddie with all the things going on would trust someone to step in and just run the contest? Then the court will have better resources OR who knows but GOOD LUCK to all the contestants.
