So scary... my little Ari got hit by a biker on the Springwater corridor today. I trusted her judgement a little beyond measure and she went skipping across without looking. She is ok, luckily the biker slowed down a lot as she saw us. I know bikers are prevalantly on the path, but I wish there could be a better place for kids and families to walk the trail. I notice the bikers ride really fast. I know these things happen sometimes, but feel heavy hearted. Am taking this lesson deeply and am so grateful all involved are ok. It was a truly frightening thing to witness. We all agreed that we need to slow down and pay more attention. Time for some ice cream and snuggles.
