So, seriously, we—including me and my family, personally—suffered SEVERELY through that last economic crisis, and we’re STILL ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY, only to have a new, more dire, economic crisis intentionally inflicted on us by a bunch or Republicans defying all logic and throwing a tantrum...? This is really going to happen? Some people try to make me feel bad because I get so political on my Facebook page, BUT THIS SHIT MATTERS. Ive gone through too much in the last seven years to just silently sit by like some little passive patsy and watch a small group of spoiled politicians—not the President, not Congress, not the government, not everyone in Washington… VERY CLEARLY A FEW CHILDISH FRINGE REPUBLICAN HOUSE MEMBERS—extorting the entire government of the United States under the threat of putting the entire country through worse than what were just coming out of, all in order to get something they couldnt earn under the rules of our government. This is bullshit. And you, yes YOU, should be ashamed of yourself if you make any attempt to justify their actions. You know the difference between right and wrong, and this is clearly wrong. The only reason the rest of the Republicans on the hill are going along with them is because theyre afraid of being targeted by their own in their next primary, another childish tactic, and losing their seats. But you, no one has a gun to your head. Youre doing it out of MISGUIDED LOYALTY TO A ONCE-GREAT PARTY. YOUR LOYALTY SHOULD BE TO YOUR COUNTRY, NOT YOUR PARTY. IF YOU CARE SO MUCH ABOUT YOUR PARTY, FLUSH THESE PEOPLE OUT OF IT AND MAKE THEM STAND ALONE. Our elected officials should love their country more than their titles and be fully prepared to do whats right in this situation, regardless of the perceived consequences to their own office. THIS IS NOT TOO MUCH TO EXPECT OF THE PEOPLE WE SEND TO WASHINGTON, including this McCarthy guy from California, this stain on California, who is the House Majority Whip.
