So serving Bharwan Karele.. tonight with moong dal n hot hot phulka ...:) For Karela... Clean n wash karela... For this I did not peel the karela... Put a slit length wise n sprinkle salt nicely on inside n outside of karela... Leave it for 45-60 mins.. Wash to remove extra salt... Now put 3-4 tsp of oil in a non stick pan and put karelas to cook...I cover them n cook....!!! Cook for 15-20 mins till the skin is cooked...!!! Take them out n start filling the masala... For Masala In a pan add one tbsp oil n put heeng, saunf , some whole dry coriander seeds... Let them crackle n now add fine chopped red onions... As they turn golden add mashed potato... Now add salt, red chilli powder, amchoor n garam masala... As masala is cooked, fill in the Karela... I put them back in Pan n let them cook for a while for the crunchy taste... Yummy they come...:)
