So shipped H&R coilovers ( with damper adjustability) to Bilstein for estimate for rebuilds( just the fronts). Couple months later, the call and say repairs are done, that will be 700.00 plus 40 for shipping. All I thought was wtf! 700! I can buy a whole used set for less than that First, they never called like they were suppose to with the estimate for repairs to see if I wanted to move forward with it, second...$700!!!! So, the decision: pay the 740.00 to get the fronts back, ( still have the perfectly good rear setup) , or say screw it and let them keep the fronts... Hell, you can get new ST coilovers for the mk1 for like 600 for all 4 corners... What would you do?
