So some have asked about my planting leaves directly in zip bags. Its easier than using a cup or pot and wedging that whole deal into a zip bag, you can see the root/baby development or squeeze the roots to jump start growth via trauma easily. Its easier to maintain humidity than a dome, and you can fit more of them in a smaller space. Just add about 2-3cm of moist potting mix into the bag, cut the leaf stem SHORT (2 cm) and shove it into the soil. Zip closed, and violá. I put a paperclip through the top and hang them on a tiny chain, draped along a plant shelf. Best part? This method seem to produce babies FASTER than any other Ive tried. I went from @%§!$§ broken leaf of a Macs Freckle-faced Redhead to two 1 high baby plants in about 12 weeks. 0_0
