So some people take one for the team...I sort of took one for the breed...or maybe the dog show sport today. lol So hubby entered his rat terrier at the Crab Orchard show. Its a show that is well hosted, well organized, and put together by some very nice people. This was our third year attending the Crab Orchard show. I went with Boogie and Kirk for their eye certifications and to root for Brandon and his rattie (only one, but STILL!) So my hubby is chatting it up with some guy with a camera while I catch up with some wonderful dog show friends. =) Hubby calls me over and the person wants to interview me about why Im attending the dog show. Um, I looked like a hobo. No make up. Hair even worse than usual. Wearing jeans and a t-shirt I usually reserve for the barn but hey, it was clean. Sooooo, I explained about the eye clinic, doing testing, the importance of testing, difference between good and bad breeders and why that matters, etc. But I rambled it incoherently for about five to ten minutes so HOPEFULLY someone else was interviewed that was much more articulate and didnt look like a hobo! lol And the worse of all BOOGIE AND KIRK WERENT GROOMED! I mean they are clean and banded and everything but I didnt get them scissored or their patterns shaved! So now I just feel humiliated. But hey, Brandon got an Owner Handler Group four on Dags and both poodles passed their eye certification.
