So someone I dont know friend requests me and I reluctantly accepted...I was reluctant because the person only has 1 pic. Then this person strikes up a chat conversation with me the day they friend request me and asked me what I do, so I say Im an artist. The person says Im a singer/songwriter give me your email address so I can send you my music, so I say the computer Im currently using wont allow me to accept downloads from the internet do you have a soundcloud account? The person asks what is soundcloud, so I send them the link and explain how it works and they create a soundcloud account and upload a song...I listen to the song and its a female vocalist and it sounded pretty good, so I tell the person claiming to be the woman singing the song I listened to and only having 1 pic on fb that I liked the song...I log out and the next time I chat with this person was just a little while ago and this is how that conversation went and Im posting it because I want EVERYONE TO BEWARE of PEOPLE LIKE THIS but I played along so I could find out what the motive was for requesting me in the first place and this is why... Them: baby, I want to ask you something maybe you can help me with it ok I dont know maybe you can help me with it I got a letter from FedEx, yesterday afternoon, the letter is from a Security Bank firm in Belgium addressed to my Dad Me: ok The letter is that the fixed deposit my dad has with them has matured since June 30th and wanting him to come and clear out his fund. and my Dad is late Me: ok Me: ok Me: so what are you asking me to help you with babe Them: I dont know what i can do cos I cant handle such amount i am asking maybe you can help me in retrieving the money from the security firm and how would I do that can you handle that for me baby, i dont know if you handle such amount because its the share my late dad collected from the oil block sold to chevron in his royal family ok but youre not telling me how I would collect it Them: you havent answered me its $36mil dollar baby Me: ok and you havent told me what you need me to do in order to collect it baby Them: I dont know too, thats why I asked, but I have the e-mail and phone of the company in the letter Me: ok Me: well if you dont know what you need me to do then how can I help you Them: i am the next of kin of my father and heir to his properties. So the papers of the fund also, i saw in my dads file his lawyer gave to me also has my name as the next of kin Me: ok yes Do you wanna contact them? Me: and say what to them Me: Dont you know what to tell them? Them: You are who to me? You are contacting them for what? Me: exactly. Who am I to you? we are not family, nor am I an attorney so why would I be contacting them and not you Me: that makes no sense Them: I was thinking you can tell them you are my fiance and my father is your in-law has passed. Them: they sent a letter to my father but he passed away 2 yrs ago Me: and what proof would I have to show them that what I tell them is the truth Them: I dont know what they gonna ask i can give you the information on the letter and the rest concerning the account of my father with them....
