So, someone called and canceled my debit card today (reported it stolen, actually) and ordered a new one. The stupid lady at the bank couldnt tell me WHERE they are mailing my new card and mine is now useless. I found this out while trying to pay for dinner tonight (Josh was working late and I thought Id make it easier by getting takeout. HA! like anything can ever be EASY!) I called the bank from the restaurant parking lot and went BERSERK on them. They wanted everything but a blood sample to verify who I was and asked me stupid questions about our account and then acted like I was impersonating myself when I couldnt remember the EXACT, TO THE PENNY, amount I spent at Walmart last night. SO I had to leave our food, drive all the way home and log onto to our online account and give her the info. At this point I was cussing mad, because they had kept me on the phone for 45 minutes asking questions because they didnt believe me and it turns out they let someone else just breeze on by. They also could not reactivate my card. Obviously, the kids heard a bit of what was going on because they were with me. I had to call Josh and get the location of the credit card so I could get dinner (which was cold on the counter of the Chinese place by this time) and Aidens meds. Then on the way home there was a wreck and we were stuck in traffic for 30 minutes about a MILE from home. Of course when we got home Chloe slammed Aidens finger in the car door and I dropped the bag of food down the MOUNTAIN of a front yard we have (it was still edible, the bright spot of the evening) I FINALLY get them all in bed and I go to give Chloe a hug goodnight and she asks where her daddy is. I tell her hes working late and I am sorry that its been such a rough day. She looks at me and says: Thats alright mom. Daddy could have probably handled it better though. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
