So, someone told me today and I quote; Matthew, God cant fix everything What not a sad statement but also a statement that sells my God short! How can someone even say some thing like that? It makes no sense to me at least. What kind of faith is that? If you cant believe that God, through His power cant fix everything, then how do you live with hope in your heart and in your life? Isnt the purpose of having a walk, a relationship with God is to have that knowledge that He can fix it all? The God, I live my life for is a God of hope, grace, power, mercy and love. His word not tells me but also shows me that He is in control, that He can and will. What is one the hardest part is that He doesnt say anything about time frames. By the way, the person that made the above statement, sadly is a member of my family. Only if they knew, only if they understood and accepted that without that trust and faith in God, there is no hope; because how do you hope in God to fix the problem if you already believe that He either wont or cant fix the problem? You cant believe in your heart that there is a God if you already confess with your mouth that He is not real or that He is not powerful enough. Its saying only His grace can work in a situation and expect nothing to come of that statement; like its a test to Him.
