So, someone with VA calls me to work on setting up an appointment for my exams and when I try to give them dates for next month and a couple months later, they proceed to tell me that is too far away and they will have to send some letter back (and possibly cancel my current claim). What the Hell? And then when I ask why it seems to be frowned upon that I have my life in order and thus have days scheduled out, they proceed to make judgemental statements regarding my reluctance to completely cancel everything I have going on and go when they want me to go. Then they tell me that this should be a priority as it is the rest of my life. I proceed by saying that my current financial and education strategy is the rest of my life. I am sorry, but $129 a month (what Id likely get) for the rest of my life (factoring in current inflation rates and economic conditions) isnt worth completely shifting my financial strategy and education timeline for. VA, I am disappoint.
