President Obama did the right thing to order air strikes against ISIS, and to send in Black Ops to try and rescue him and the other US Citizen being held and threatened with execution. I think it very important that people understand what he is doing to prevent full-scale (nuclear) war, weighing so heavily on my mind. I remember being off the coast of Russia in October 1962 (the Cuban Missile Crisis) and how close we were to global catastrophe then. Kennedy and Khruschev reached an agreement. I am hoping that Obama and Putin reach one, and surely dont mind that President Obama is doing what he can to do so, although I think sanctions never work, and they only damage peoples livelihood, hardly touching the political realm.
