So symphonic metal is a wonderful genre and dont let anyone tell you otherwise because it is great! Im not what youd call a metalhead but The L-Trains stuff is good and there are many other artists that make some good music. One example is this symphonic tribute to the Legend of Zelda series: https://youtube/watch?v=LVQzPyhY5wo&list=LLPZM8KM6qt5qXvODMDGpeGA&index=13 It is a lot of music from Ocarina of Time (because it had some of the best music) but it pulls some from the other games as well.
