So that is what eisteddfod is all about!!!! Have never seen one, and only ever performed in one once a very very long time ago in Bundaberg. Two thirds and a highly commended is a Fantastic outcome for a first ever Eisteddfod experience I think :) So proud of my students (some of whom had a grand total of 4 rehearsals leading into the eisteddfod - who can say no to a new little preppie boy who WANTS to sing and preppies who keep forgetting when choir is on :) All my students come to choir voluntarily, giving up their play time. I LOVE my school!!!!!!! So very proud of their effort!!!!! The adjudicator was excellent - lovely, extremely knowledgable (as you would expect) and patient. It was excellent to her her reinforce everything I have been teaching :) So already planning huge things for next year............ For now........ Concert in week 1 of next term, T&L audit week 2, instrumental testing week 2&3 report cards week 5, instrumental music parent information evening week 7/8, Carols by Candlelight week 7........... forward, onward and upward hold onto your hat I think the roller coaster just clicked up a gear! :)
