So the Android vs. iPhone saga continues. Ive deactivated iMessage on my in active iPhone, then called Apple and had my number completely deactivated from their server. With the rep on the phone I had someone text me with an iPhone. No luck! After much prodding I discovered if you have an existing message stream with me, you will need to delete that stream then toggle your iMessage button in your setting to off and then back on again to solve the problem. THIS IS JUST CRAZY! Makes me seriously regret giving so many years to Apple!
