So, the Authorization for Use of Military Force that everyone uses to justify the endless war campaign we are in implicitly known as the War on Terror, authorizes the President to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such organizations or persons, in order to prevent any future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such nations, organizations or persons. Aside form being an obvious tyranny by leaving complete reins to do whatever to the executive branch, it does not say anything about future Presidents doing anything to anyone else in such ways. How can this be the justification for Presidential War powers? It allowed a former President to go after specific people that did a specific thing. The only thing the President should be able to do is go after those who did 9/11 with this, but that is not who he is targeting, he is countering ongoing threats. His drone and airstrike War games are unlawful use of military force. ~Zack
