So, the Ebola virus is rolling merrily along, unchecked and uncontested, and as usual, our wonderful federal government does what they always do in a catastrophe...NOT A DAMNED THING! Well, having said that, heres a visual possibility for our country, and the world at large, that gets more and more plausible day by day. This is the opening moments to Stephen Kings The Stand (which just HAPPENED to be about a deadly virus that wipes out 98% of the population on Earth). This COULD VERY WELL BE where we are headed. Sure, go right ahead and laugh. But then take a good hard long look at the incompetency of the Center For Disease Control and then tell me exactly how funny you think it is. And just for the record, the Randall Flagg of the post-apocalypse will be ME! Those of you who have read the book or seen the movie know EXACTLY what Im talking about! ;-)
