So....the Iranian Embassy was attacked in Lebanon back in November......by al Qaeda. We are no longer the prime target for them. Looks like the 13 centuries old Religious war between the Sunni and the Shia is a hot war again. No wonder al Qaeda is part of rebel factions fighting in Syria against the IRAN and Shia backed government of Assad. No wonder we dont want to interfere and just want to help arm factions. No wonder violence is escalating between the Sunnis in Iraq and the Shia controlled Government. Let them kill each other instead of us. This is about who will control the middle east from a religious standpoint. Sometimes you have to wonder if there are other old silent forces who know how to manipulate or instigate things to affect a region or country. I wonder if this will continue to escalate and spread throughout the region? Should be interesting for the next few years if this continues....but will anything ever be resolved in this region? The problem with religion and the violence it creates is right there in front of us for all to see. So ...not only can you be killed in the Middle East for worshiping the wrong God ...but if you worship the same God the wrong way. Check the body count lately....mostly Iran supported Hezbollah militants and Iranian volunteers backing the Assad regime and Sunni jihadis are being killing in the Middle East. Time for us to back out of that region and let it implode on itself or let China send its new carrier there (if it can go that far) and protect the oil flow because they get more Middle East oil than us by far.
