So the NYS governor says its the people that were driving on the thru way when it was closed who are at fault for getting stuck there because it was closed. QUESTION: If the thruway was closed why in the hell didnt the NYS THRUWAY PERSONNEL at the entrances stop people from entering? Does one not have to go thru the speed pass lane or get a ticket from the personnel at the booths? Why was it not shut down? You cant just drive onto the thruway without going through an entrance.
