So, the Prez has been in KC since last night. He did dinner at Arthur Bryants BBQ. Theres a place thats been coasting on reputation, vice actual taste, for decades now. But thats where you take a President who is visiting KC... heh. People have been waiting since midnight at the theater where he will be delivering a speech today. Theyll be let in the theater at 8:30AM, to sit in there and wait for the speech at 11AM. The local high rollers get brekkies with him first. And, of course, if you live or work down in the area and havent been paying attention, you can pick up your towed car (after paying all the fees, of course) at the impound lot. Mind you, I wouldnt go through all that for any President. Or anyone. Except family. But Im a cynical old curmudgeon, too. And have been since oh, third grade, anyway.
